Eligibility & Participation Groups

Elevate Brainstorm Blitz 2026 (“the Event”) is open to students currently enrolled from Class 5 up to and including college/undergraduate level. There is no minimum grade or academic requirement to register.

Participants are placed into one of three groups based on their current class/level at the time of registration:

  • Group A — Class 5 to Class 9
  • Group B — Class 9 to Class 12
  • Group C — College / Undergraduate students

Each group is examined separately, with its own paper and prize pool. EMI reserves the right to verify a participant's eligibility (e.g., school/college ID, date of birth) at the time of the examination and to reassign or disqualify an incorrectly grouped entry.

Participants below 18 years of age must register with the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on the participant's behalf.

On successful registration, participants will receive confirmation, an admit card, exam preparation guidelines, and syllabus details on their registered email and phone number, generally within 24–48 hours.

Providing accurate registration details (name, class/level, date of birth, contact information) is the sole responsibility of the participant or guardian. EMI is not liable for delays or non-delivery of communication caused by incorrect details submitted at registration.

3

Refund & Cancellation Policy

The registration fee is non-refundable once registration is confirmed and payment is successfully processed. The fee covers examination administration, preparation materials, venue arrangements, evaluation, and certificate processing — costs that are committed by EMI upon confirmation of each registration.

In the event a participant is unable to appear for the examination for any reason, no refund, fee credit, or carry-forward to a future event will be provided, except where the Event itself is cancelled or rescheduled by EMI (see Section 10).

Duplicate or erroneous payments (e.g., due to a technical error resulting in multiple charges for a single registration) will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis; participants should report such issues to EMI within 7 days of payment via the contact details in Section 14.

4

Examination Conduct

The examination will be held on 23 August 2026 at the designated venue (Khalisani College Road, Guchaitpara, West Bengal), or as otherwise communicated to registered participants. Reporting time, seating, and venue instructions will be shared with the admit card.

The examination duration and format (multiple-choice and/or descriptive questions) vary by group and are detailed in the exam preparation guidelines issued after registration.

Participants must carry their admit card and a valid photo/school ID to the examination venue. Entry may be denied without these documents.

Parents/guardians may accompany Group A participants to the venue for comfort and safety, but may not be present in the examination hall during the test, in fairness to all candidates.

5

Evaluation & Results

Answer scripts are evaluated by qualified academic professionals against a standardised marking scheme, and results are cross-verified for accuracy and fairness before publication.

Results will be published online within approximately 15 days of the examination date. EMI's evaluation decision is final and binding; individual rechecking or re-evaluation requests are not guaranteed but may be considered at EMI's sole discretion if raised in writing within 7 days of result publication.

In the event of a tie in scores affecting prize positions, EMI may apply supplementary criteria (such as time taken, or a tie-breaker round) to determine the final ranking.

6

Prizes, Awards & Disbursement

Each group (A, B, and C) carries an independent prize structure: 1st Prize ₹50,000, 2nd Prize ₹30,000, 3rd Prize ₹20,000, and 25 consolation awards of ₹2,000 each, subject to a minimum threshold of qualifying participation in that group as determined by EMI.

Institutional awards of ₹25,000 may be granted to schools/colleges with top-performing students, at EMI's discretion, based on aggregate or individual performance criteria communicated separately.

Winners will be announced and felicitated at the award ceremony. Cash prizes are disbursed via bank transfer to the winner's (or, for minors, the parent/guardian's) bank account, generally within 7 days of the ceremony, subject to submission of complete and valid bank details and any tax documentation required by law.

All prize amounts are subject to applicable taxes (such as TDS) as per prevailing Indian tax law, which EMI may deduct at source where legally required.

Please note: Prize eligibility requires the participant to have appeared for the full examination and to be verified as eligible for their registered group at the time of evaluation.
7

Certificates & Recognition

Every participant who appears for the examination receives an official EMI participation certificate, regardless of score or rank. Top performers additionally receive achievement certificates, recognition awards, and may be featured on EMI's official platforms and social media.

Certificates carry a unique verification code and are issued electronically and/or physically at EMI's discretion. EMI is not responsible for reprints due to errors in details submitted by the participant at registration; minor corrections may be requested in writing within 30 days of certificate issuance.

8

Code of Conduct & Disqualification

Participants are expected to conduct themselves with academic integrity and discipline throughout the registration, examination, and award process. EMI reserves the right to disqualify any participant, withhold a certificate or prize, and/or bar future participation, without refund, in cases including but not limited to:

  • Use of unfair means, malpractice, or impersonation during the examination
  • Submission of false eligibility information (class/level, age, identity)
  • Disruptive, abusive, or unsafe conduct at the venue or ceremony
  • Any attempt to manipulate the registration, evaluation, or results process

EMI's decision on any matter of conduct or disqualification is final.

9

Media, Data & Communication

By registering, participants (or their guardians, for minors) consent to EMI capturing and using photographs, videos, names, and achievement details from the Event for promotional, recognition, and reporting purposes across EMI's website, social media, and partner platforms, unless EMI is notified of an objection in writing prior to the Event.

Personal data collected at registration (name, contact details, date of birth, school/college, etc.) is used solely for Event administration, communication, and certificate/result processing, and is handled in line with EMI's Privacy Policy. EMI does not sell participant data to third parties.

By opting in during registration, participants agree to receive Event-related updates via WhatsApp and email. This can be withdrawn at any time by contacting EMI.

10

Event Changes & Force Majeure

EMI reserves the right to modify the Event date, venue, format (including shifting to an online mode), syllabus details, or prize structure, with reasonable prior notice communicated to registered participants via email/WhatsApp.

In the event the Event is cancelled, postponed, or substantially altered due to circumstances beyond EMI's reasonable control — including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, public health emergencies, strikes, or other force majeure events — EMI will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the Event or offer an alternative arrangement. Registration fees remain non-refundable under this clause but will, wherever feasible, be honoured for a rescheduled date.

11

Limitation of Liability

EMI takes reasonable care to ensure participant safety and a fair examination process, but does not guarantee any particular score, rank, prize, scholarship outcome, or career result from participation in the Event.

EMI's total liability arising out of or in connection with the Event, for any reason, shall not exceed the registration fee paid by the affected participant. EMI is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including travel costs, loss of opportunity, or third-party actions outside its control.

Participants and guardians are responsible for the participant's safe travel to and from the examination venue and ceremony.

12

Intellectual Property

All examination content, study/preparation material, branding, and event materials remain the intellectual property of Elevate Management Institute. Reproduction, distribution, or sharing of examination questions or proprietary material without written permission from EMI is strictly prohibited and may result in disqualification and/or legal action.
